Nepali Congress Vice President Vishwaprakash Sharma has questioned why public anger, dissatisfaction and distrust have not eased despite the formation of a new government in Nepal.

Speaking at the opening session of the Nepali Congress 15th General Convention at Khulamanch in Kathmandu, Sharma raised the issue in front of Rastriya Swatantra Party President Rabi Lamichhane. He also questioned why people continue to attack one another on social media.

Sharma calls for rebuilding trust

Sharma stressed the need to turn public emotion into trust. His remarks focused on the persistence of public dissatisfaction even after a change in government.

He raised the questions during the convention’s opening session, linking public anger and distrust with the way people engage with one another online.
