Former President and senior CPN-UML leader Vidya Devi Bhandari said she returned to party politics after seeing threats to democracy and the constitution in the country.
She shared her views at the CPN-UML standing committee meeting in Kathmandu on Friday, speaking about the dangers facing democracy and the constitution.

Bhandari made the comments in her capacity as a senior leader of the CPN-UML. She said concerns over the state of democracy and the constitution led her to return to party politics.
