Speaker Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal held a courtesy meeting with President Ram Chandra Paudel on Friday ahead of his planned departure to attend the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
During the meeting, Aryal informed President Paudel that he would travel to participate in the assembly. The Speaker is scheduled to depart on Sunday.
Speaker to attend IPU assembly
The 153rd Assembly is an event of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, an international organization of national parliaments. Aryal is set to represent Nepal at the assembly.
