India completed a historic chase of 406 runs against West Indies in the second ODI in Guwahati, reaching the target in 43.3 overs with just two wickets down. The eight-wicket victory gave India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
Captain Shubman Gill led the chase with an unbeaten 223, completing his double century from 117 balls - the fastest double century in ODI history. Rohit Sharma also scored a century as India sealed the win with plenty of overs to spare.

Gill’s double century powered India past the 406-run target in a commanding batting display. India lost only two wickets on the way to the total, securing one of its most notable ODI chases.
The result put India 2-0 ahead after two matches, with one ODI remaining in the series.
Kohli starred in the series opener
India also won the first ODI in Thiruvananthapuram by eight wickets. Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 139, registering his 55th ODI century and 86th international hundred.
Kohli also became the fastest batter to reach 15,000 ODI runs, achieving the milestone in his 303rd innings.
