Pakistan’s exports rose 17.6 percent year-on-year to $2.94 billion in September, according to preliminary trade data released Friday by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
Exports also increased 16.1 percent from August, when they were recorded at $2.53 billion. The data showed that Pakistan’s trade deficit widened during September.
Pakistan export growth in September
The figures mark an increase in exports both compared with the same month a year earlier and on a month-to-month basis.
