CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli administered the oath of office to newly nominated central committee members at the party office in Chyasal, Kathmandu, on Friday. The ceremony followed the party’s third full central committee meeting.
Addressing the gathering, Oli said the party could recover from its current setback if it strengthened itself and moved forward. He also stressed the goal of national prosperity.
Oli calls for party discipline
Oli warned that anarchy, factionalism and indiscipline within the party would not be tolerated. He urged party leaders and cadres to manage minor differences and work together.
He also directed them to prepare for the upcoming local-level elections as the party seeks to move forward.
