The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Coordination Council Portugal will begin operating an office in Lisbon from 4 October, alongside the launch of a website. The office is intended to serve the Nepali community in Portugal.
The move comes as the number of Nepali citizens in Portugal reached 56,866 in 2025, making them the country's fifth-largest immigrant group, according to Portugal's National Statistics Institute (INE).
Nepali population in Portugal
INE figures show the Nepali population includes 38,335 men and 18,531 women. Together, they make up 56,866 Nepali citizens living in Portugal.
NRNA Portugal office
The NRNA National Coordination Council Portugal says its Lisbon office will serve Nepalis in the country. The office will begin operating from 4 October, and the council will also introduce a website.
