Nepal’s national women’s kabaddi team returned home on Wednesday after winning a bronze medal at the 20th Asian Games in Japan. The players received a grand welcome at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Nepal secured the bronze after losing 48-24 to India in the semifinal. Captain Manmati Bista said the team’s main dream of reaching the final remained unfulfilled.

The medal marked Nepal’s achievement in women’s kabaddi at the Asian Games. The team’s campaign ended in the semifinal against India, where Nepal was defeated by a 24-point margin.
