Speaker Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal met Australian House of Representatives Speaker Milton Dick in Arusha, Tanzania, on October 6, 2026, while both attended the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
According to Aryal's secretariat, the two speakers discussed friendly relations between Nepal and Australia and parliamentary cooperation, among other topics.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the IPU Assembly, which brought the two speakers together in Arusha. The discussions focused on bilateral relations and cooperation between the parliaments.
