Nepal Rastra Bank has withdrawn a total of Rs 50 billion from the banking system through two deposit collection auction operations, according to reports by Baahrakhari dated September 28 and September 30, 2026.
The central bank collected Rs 20 billion in one operation and Rs 30 billion in another as part of its ongoing liquidity management through deposit collection auctions.

The reported auctions involved:
- Rs 20 billion collected in one operation
- Rs 30 billion collected in a separate operation
Together, the two operations account for Rs 50 billion withdrawn from the banking system. The reports indicate that Nepal Rastra Bank has continued using deposit collection auctions to manage liquidity.
