Nepal has granted climbing permits to 788 climbers from 70 countries for 31 mountains ahead of the autumn climbing season, according to reports from Thaha Khabar, Baahrakhari and Setopati.
Climbers from China make up the largest group among those permitted, with 118 people receiving permits.
