The Council of Ministers has approved grant assistance of approximately Rs 100 million from the Norwegian government to support clean energy transition programs across municipalities nationwide.
The decision was made at a Cabinet meeting held on Monday in Kathmandu. The government also endorsed the Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Regulations and forwarded the Gen Z protest report to the Home Ministry.
Other Cabinet decisions
The meeting also dealt with committee reports, regulatory amendments and a senior administrative promotion, according to the decisions announced after the meeting.
