Nepal's Cabinet has approved cash awards for the athletes, coaches and managers who won medals at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The decision was made at a Cabinet meeting on Friday and announced by Minister for Communication and Information Technology Dr. Vikram Timilsina.
Nepal earned bronze medals at the Games through its women's kabaddi team and karate athlete Tenzing Sherpa. The kabaddi team's medal marked its second consecutive Asian Games medal.
