Muglin–Malekhu Road Upgrade Picks Up Pace as Weather Improves

Work on the Muglin–Malekhu section of the Muglin–Nagdhunga road project has gained pace following improved weather conditions, according to reports from Kathmandu.

The 38.86-kilometre stretch is being upgraded with a concessional World Bank loan of Rs 4.8059 billion. The contract was awarded on 15 Poush 2079 BS, and the road is targeted for completion within three years.

Muglin–Malekhu road project

The Muglin–Malekhu stretch forms the western section of the wider Muglin–Nagdhunga road project. Improved weather has helped work on the road upgrade progress more quickly.
