Shram Sanskriti Party MP Dhruva Rai has urged the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (National Independent Party) not to topple its own government, saying he hopes it will serve a full five-year term.
Speaking in the House of Representatives on Friday, Rai criticised the government for failing to adequately respond to questions and demands raised by the opposition and the public as the current parliamentary session nears its end. He drew the attention of Prime Minister Balen Shah to the issue.
Rai says opposition demands were ignored
Rai said he was returning to Bhojpur “empty-handed” because the opposition’s demands had not been addressed in the House. He said the government had not provided adequate answers to the concerns raised during the session.
He also wished the ruling party’s government a full five-year term, while warning it against bringing down its own administration.
