Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has completed the financial management of a 20 MW grid-connected solar energy project promoted by Pashupati Energy Pvt. Ltd. in Sunsari district, Koshi Province.
The bank is financing the project as its sole investor, covering up to 80 percent of the total project cost. The construction period is set at 1.5 years.
Project to add to Nepal’s clean energy capacity
The solar project is expected to boost Nepal’s renewable and clean energy generation capacity. Its planned 20 MW grid connection will contribute to the country’s solar power generation.
