Lionel Messi has completed the acquisition of Spanish second-tier club CD Eldense, becoming its majority owner in a deal that is pending regulatory approval. The club announced the agreement on Thursday, according to Reuters.
The 39-year-old footballer’s investment in Eldense is his second purchase of a Spanish club this year. He acquired UE Cornella in April.
