The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has reached a staff-level agreement with Pakistani officials to provide about $1.2 billion in support to Pakistan. The agreement was reported on October 8, 2026.
The package is not yet approved for implementation. It must first receive clearance from the IMF's Executive Board.
