Nepal's Home Minister Sudhan Gurung is scheduled to visit India on October 12 to attend a meeting of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Home ministers from all seven BIMSTEC member states are expected to participate in the meeting. Ministry sources confirmed Gurung's visit.

The meeting will bring together home ministers from the seven countries in the regional cooperation group. The ministry has confirmed that Gurung is scheduled to travel to India for the gathering.
