CPN (Nepal Communist Party) parliamentary party deputy leader Pramesh Kumar Hamal has accused the government of failing to take concerns raised in the House of Representatives seriously.
Speaking at today's House meeting in Kathmandu, Hamal said the government had introduced ordinances after the previous session ended and had not followed the Speaker's directives during the current session. He also said the Prime Minister was not accountable to Parliament.
Hamal criticises government commitments
Hamal further alleged that the government had not made a serious effort to implement its announcements, commitments and programmes.
His remarks focused on the government's response to issues raised by lawmakers and its compliance with parliamentary processes.
