Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal is set to leave for Fiji on October 3 to lead a Nepali delegation to the Pre-COP Leaders' event, scheduled to take place in Fiji and Tuvalu on October 5-6, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry said in a press release issued Thursday that Khanal will deliver remarks at the Leaders' Plenary on October 6.

Before the plenary, the foreign minister is scheduled to take part in a media question-and-answer session with the President of Palau, the Prime Ministers of Australia and other countries.
Khanal's visit will be focused on Nepal's participation in the Pre-COP Leaders' event, which brings together leaders in Fiji and Tuvalu.
