Finance Minister Wagle is in the United States for talks with US Treasury officials and the president of the World Bank, with discussions scheduled for Monday. The agenda includes expanding bilateral cooperation, reconstruction and broader economic reforms in Nepal.
The meetings are also expected to address Nepal’s exit from the grey list and additional support for rebuilding infrastructure damaged by the recent Bhotekoshi floods.
