Dengue Cases Rise in Banke District, 90 Infections Confirmed

Dengue infections are increasing in Banke district, which borders India. The Health Office Banke says 90 people have been confirmed infected so far.

The infections were confirmed through tests conducted at Bheri Hospital, Sanjivani Hospital and other hospitals in Nepalgunj between Poush of last year and Ashoj 16, according to Sharma, a contact person at the Health Office Banke.

The reported total includes people whose infections were confirmed at hospitals in Nepalgunj during the period covered by the Health Office. The office has reported that cases are rising in the district.
