The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that entry and exit routes at 57 stations in New Delhi will be closed from 9 pm tonight, ahead of a protest proposed by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) for October 10. The closures will remain in place until further orders.
Delhi Police said permission has not been granted for the protest, which also involves leftist organisations. Security has been tightened across the Indian capital.
