The temporary bench of the Janakpur High Court in Birgunj will remain open during the Dashain public holidays to provide urgent judicial services, the bench announced.
Hearings will be held on essential petitions, including habeas corpus cases and requests for permission to issue commercial arrest warrants. The arrangement is intended to ensure that people seeking urgent legal services are not left without access to the court during the holidays.
Court schedule during Dashain
The bench will provide services from Asoj 25, the day of Ghatasthapana, until Kartik 8. Justice administration will run from 11 am to 3 pm, including on public holiday days.

The court will hear essential matters, including:
- Habeas corpus petitions
- Requests for permission to issue commercial arrest warrants
