Construction of a 76-metre bailey bridge has begun at Syaphrubesi in Rasuwa district, with the project intended to restore the road network connecting the Rasuwagadhi crossing with China.
Work is under way on the bridge foundation, which is about 14 metres deep. Two excavators are being used for the foundation work, alongside construction of an access road and temporary tracks on both sides of the river.
