22 Construction Contracts Cancelled in Dolakha Over Stalled Road Projects

The Road Division Office Charikot has cancelled 22 construction contracts in Dolakha after the projects remained stalled for years. The contracts were awarded to construction entrepreneurs and companies for various road projects, including works awarded in fiscal year 2079/80.

A public notice issued on Friday said the agreements had been terminated and the process of financial settlement had begun. The office operates under the Department of Roads and the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure.

Contracts terminated after years of delays

The cancellations cover road development works in Dolakha that had not progressed for years. The notice confirmed the termination of the agreements, but did not specify in the information provided how many projects were covered by each contract.

The move was reported by Khabarhub and Ratopati.
