Traffic has been halted on the old Lokaha Khola bridge between Pragatinagar and Kawasoti in Nawalpur after technical problems were found, the Road Division Office Bharatpur said.
Vehicles are continuing to travel across the newly completed bridge at the same location. The road is not fully blocked, according to a notice issued by the division office on Saturday.
Traffic diverted to new bridge
The closure applies only to the old bridge. Motorists can continue their journeys using the new Lokaha Khola bridge, where traffic is running regularly.
