The government plans to promote Sinja Valley, regarded as the birthplace of Khas civilization, as both an ancestral identity and an international tourism destination, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Khadka Raj Paudel said in Jumla on October 10, 2026.
The plan aims to connect the history and identity of the Sinja civilization with tourism promotion, bringing greater international attention to the valley.
Linking heritage with tourism
The government’s stated goals include:

- Connecting Khas civilization with tourism promotion.
