Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal returned to Nepal on Saturday after attending the high-level Pre-COP Leaders Event in Fiji and Tuvalu and making an official visit to Australia.
Speaking to the media after arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, Khanal said the Government of Australia had announced grants. He also said he had taken part in discussions on climate change during the event.
Visit to Fiji, Tuvalu and Australia
Khanal attended the Pre-COP Leaders Event, a high-level gathering focused on climate change, in Fiji and Tuvalu. His programme also included an official visit to Australia.
On his return, the foreign minister shared details of the visits with journalists at Tribhuvan International Airport, including the announcement of grants by the Australian government.
