Police arrested five people in separate drug cases in eastern Nepal, seizing suspected brown heroin in Morang and Taplejung, according to local media reports.
In Morang, four people were arrested after police recovered 9.37 grams of a substance appearing to be brown heroin from two separate locations, Gorkhapatra Online reported.
In a separate case in Taplejung, police arrested one person after raiding his home on a tip-off about the ongoing sale and distribution of drugs. Officers recovered 2 grams and 890 milligrams of a substance identified as brown heroin, Nagarik News reported.
