The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology will seek concurrence from the Ministry of Law on a proposed 11th amendment to the Education Regulations, which aims to address concerns raised across the education sector.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology decided on Friday to forward a proposal for the 11th amendment of the Education Regulations to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs for concurrence, after the proposal was returned from the Ministry of Finance. The proposed changes are intended to address grievances raised by teachers, students and other stakeholders in the education sector, but the amendment has not yet been finalized.
